Our prayerful longing and chief priority is simple. For people across Manchester Diocese to hear the Gospel, come, by God’s grace, to living saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and grow as his disciples.

We seek to facilitate prayer, fellowship, encouragement and equipping through networking and mutual support and by organising a varied programme of gatherings and training events through the year.

We seek to unite as wide a group as possible within the bounds of our doctrinal basis.

Attendance at our meetings and membership of the DEF is open to both lay and ordained people across Manchester Diocese.

Our committee consists: of Paul Hardingham (vice-chair), Paul Sumsion (secretary), Margaret Parrett, James Spence, Nicola Butterworth, Vincent Whitworth and myself.

If any of our meetings may be of use to you in your Christian walk and ministry, do come along. You would be very welcome.

If you support what we are about, do consider joining us.

Terry Clark
